Record
the status of the river by going into the living district, scenic spots,
green belt that it runs through. Our lives in this city are tangled
with the river, at the same time the waste we diacharged everyday is
threatening the ecosystem of the river.
Recognized
as our mother river, we appeal more corcerns on the QinHuai River. Through
our action, we hope more and more people will engaged in the protection
movement.
The
power of individule is slight,.but when everyone hold the mind of protecting
our mother river and turn it into action, we believe we will achieve
the civilization we have expected for long, that is a civilazation of
sustainable development and the co-survive with the nature.
Keep
in mind, your action will make a difference. You will be rewarded in
the action, the love between the river and the citu for thousand years
will definitely touch you and you will also see a spiritual river through
your efforts.

The
plan is composed by two sections, the inner branch and the outer branch.
We plan to trace the inner branch on foot. Divided into 5 teams, each
cover a different segment. Students from the same university work as
a group. The outer branch will be covered by spot sampling. All the
sampling will be displayed on the Citizen Square.
QiHuai
program is supposed to be a long-time project. So"trace the source
of QinHuai River" is just a begin, through which we should have
a whole view of the situation about this river, and gain experience
for further actions.
We plan to let the normal citizen have a direct
impression of the water quality in the river; evaluate the QinHuai cleanup
program from a third party.
