TRACE THE SCOURCE OF QINHUAI HE

 

    QinHuai River regarded as the mother river of Nanjing, is a branch of ChangJiang, extending 110km. It is crucial for this city, as the Thames for London.
     The river divides into two streams, one of which runs pass the city is called the inner QinHuai. The inner trubutary in known as "10 li qinhuai", where used to be the most flourishing place in the nation, fostering numous poets, scholars and famous almes in the ancient time.Painted boats shuttled to and fro and music sounded all night.
